Experiences:
Ms. Olivia is a certified teacher. She taught for an 11 year period with Edmond Public Schools. There she honed her skills in curriculum design, classroom management, and developing fun, positive relationships with students. She also saw what works and doesn't work in a school. When she had her son, she decided to start exploring the world of homeschooling. SAGA is the product of her desire to build something different for him.
In college, Ms. Olivia worked for Turning Point Therapeutic Riding Center, where she was a Horseback Riding Instructor to students of all ages with all types of physical and/or intellectual disabilities. This experience gave her invaluable insight into the benefits of kinesiology and animal therapy in a person's life.
Fluent in American Sign Language, she served as a certified interpreter for the Deaf in the local community. She also sponsored an ASL Club at her school for many years and loves to teach sign language to students.
Ms. Olivia takes care of the animal husbandry, budget, and business operations for Cairn Ridge Ranch, a ranch party entertainment service located on her property.
